The most hardcore free jazz unit in the wolrd is absolutely Italian duo Jooklo Duo. I asked a female sax player of Jooklo duo Virginia Genta who plays aggressively by e-mail. I will upload this interview devided in two because I had endless questions and the interview was considerably long.

Vinyl Experience (8) Young people get into vinyl

The feature title of US Billboard magazine published in 2008 was “The iPod Generation Takes Vinyl for a Spin”. Although the popularity of vinyl just began in 2008, we can understand the youth called iPod Generation went toward vinyl since those days. The president of Audio Fidelity, Marshall Blonstein says "It used to be hip to have a CD. Now, it's hip to have vinyl". Young people regard vinyl as hip and come to crowd those.

A drummer, Hiroto Sato is anyway straightforward. He never plays cheap tricks. He is beating the drum until he was satisfied. But, he wasn’t a jazz drummer basically. It was difficult to explain what it means, he isn’t conscious about jazz anyway. But, he adores Takeo Moriyama (Sato’s first idol was Ian Paice). Well, although I also can’t play jazz if I say that, I’ve adored Evan Parker.
